Cabbage Farming during rain season

Cabbage Farming during rain season.
When planning for cabbage farming during rain season, consider these few factors.
-soil type
-Terrain of the land
-Pathology condition of the soil
-Market
-seed variety

Soil Type
Always go for well drained soil. Some time rains exceed our expectations and with long period of cabbages in poorly drained soil they will end up killing them . Sandy loam soil is best because it's doesn't keep water for long.
Terrain of the land.
A sloppy land is the best. When there is heavy down pour for a long period, water doesn't stop on a sloppy land and this prevent floods on cabbage farm.

Pathological condition of the soil.
Before starting cabbage farming. Do a soil analysis and this will guide you on the best place to grow cabbages. Fungal infested areas should be avoided to prevent the disease from killing cabbages during rain season.
Market
It's easy to farm when it's raining, so everyone grows cabbages without market in mind. When they're all mature the market becomes oversupplied with cabbages leading to low or zero returns.
Seed variety
Some varieties do well under rainfall, others do well under irrigation and others can do well in all conditions. You need to know which variety to farm at what time.
